Regulatory Compliance Solutions for Federal Government Organizations

Federal Information Processing Standards [FIPS]
FIPS standards and guidelines were developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for federal computer systems, and adopted by the U.S. and Canada, to measure and certify compliance for cryptographic soundness in hardware and software.

Section 508
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires that the electronic and information technology of government departments and agencies is accessible to people with disabilities, unless it would impose an undue burden on the department or agency.

Common Criteria
Common Criteria is an ISO standard for software security functions (ISO/IEC15408:1999). It represents the outcome of efforts to develop criteria for evaluation of IT security that is widely useful within the international community.
