Optimal performance over the WAN
Using a powerful, compute-intensive, data-rich application such as AutoCAD Map 3D demands a great deal of low-latency bandwidth. Because Citrix XenApp centralizes application processing on the server close to the data source, only minimal, predictable amounts of data traverse the network (typically less than 28 Kbps per client session). With Citrix XenApp, AutoCAD Map 3D has a smaller network footprint, which improves performance and helps avoid the costs of additional bandwidth capacity.

Stronger data security and improved compliance
For many utilities and telecommunications companies, and government agencies that must adhere to homeland security regulations, data privacy and regulatory compliance are critical.
