To the point that “… separating the browser from the underlying system is an approach used by a number of vendors to mitigate potential risk,” Roemer noted that XenApp and XenDesktop enable users to virtualize their browser. He also pointed out that virtualization expedites the patch process for browser software, resulting in greater consistency across the organization.
